WHAT IS FIRST LEGO LEAGUE?

The FIRST LEGO League program introduces STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to students through fun, exciting hands-on learning that is enjoyable and stimulating.In a supervised, international robotics program, participants get practical problem-solving experience that aids in the joint future building of today’s students and teachers.

The three-part program, which includes a research project dubbed the project, a robot game and core values, encourages kids to experiment and develop their critical thinking, coding skills, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics. Early exposure to STEM programs fosters students’ love and interest in STEM fields, helps them develop the skills necessary to succeed in a competitive, global workforce, and teaches them how to use STEM tools in practical situations.

A call for students with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering was put out in March of 2022 and more than 100 students responded to that call. All in one room, their curiosity about the FIRST LEGO League robotics and coding was satiated upon being given the opportunity to experience the Science and technology first hand. Coupled with the fact that LEGOs were being used as a driver for this technology, most could not resist the urge to put their creative minds to the test.And thus the FLL journey began.
