Creating opportunities for young people to explore, learn, and imagine their future careers remains at the heart of Dare To Dream’s mission. On 27 February 2026, Dare To Dream welcomed learners from Ambrose AmbroseAcademy to its offices at the Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub (BDIH) for an engaging educational visit focused on innovation, technology, and career possibilities.
The visit provided learners with an opportunity to learn more about the work Dare To Dream does in empowering young people and creating pathways into Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship (STEAME), aviation, and innovation-driven careers.
During the engagement, the learners explored the mission of Dare To Dream and gained insight into how exposure, mentorship, and access to opportunities can help young people build confidence and prepare for the careers of tomorrow.
As part of their experience, the learners toured companies operating within the Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub, including AbariCom and Alpha Direct Insurance Co. The tours offered them a closer look at how businesses function within Botswana’s growing innovation ecosystem, while also showcasing the different career possibilities available in technology, entrepreneurship, and business.
The visit was filled with curiosity, enthusiasm, and meaningful conversations as both boys and girls actively engaged with the teams and explored the world of innovation. Seeing young minds connect with technology and entrepreneurship highlighted the importance of creating spaces where learners can discover their potential early.
We believe that exposure plays a key role in shaping future-ready leaders. Through educational tours and industry engagement, we continue to inspire young people to dream bigger, explore new possibilities, and pursue careers that will contribute to Botswana’s future.
