AVIATION & TOURISM SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM

An aviation and tourism school outreach program was held by Dare To Dream in collaboration with the Botswana Tourism Organization during the Makgadikgadi Epic 2022 event to spark tudents’enthusiasm for STEM Technology,Engineering, and Mathematics) Aviation and Aerospace disciplines.

The participants who demonstrated the greatest academic excellence came from Flamingo Private School and Nakato Community Junior Secondary School, both of which are located in Sowa Town. They were given the opportunity to participate in an AIRBUS A380 and First Lego League robotics and coding program. Students were taught time management,collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving techniques through these programs. Also, the kids had the chance to learn about various careers in the aviation sector. After the program’s conclusion, certificates were awarded.
