MAKGADIKGADI EPIC 2023

Dare To Dream, in partnership with the Botswana Tourism Organization, hosted an inspiring outreach program during the Makgadikgadi Epic 2023 event, aimed at igniting young students’ passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in the context of aviation and aerospace. Outstanding academic achievements were celebrated from students at Flamingo Private School and Nxakato Community Junior Secondary School, both situated in the vibrant Sowa Town. These exceptional students were granted the unique opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences, including a thrilling AIRBUS A380 Assembly workshop and immersive participation in the First Lego League robotics and coding program.

The program emphasized valuable skills such as time management, teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving techniques. Moreover, the students gained valuable insights into diverse career prospects within the aviation industry. As a rewarding conclusion to this program, certificates were awarded to these bright young minds, underscoring their dedication and commitment to their educational journey.
